Storage of Phytosanitary products

To ensure the best security, it is also recommended to optimize stocks and inventories management : 

  • Store a minimum of products and keep an accurate inventory
  • Respect the principle of « the first in is the first out »
  • Keep products in their original packaging
  • Keep away hydro soluble packaging from any source of moisture
  • Store products and granules above the liquids
  • Separate explosive flammable products from others

Before the treatment

Reading labels

Reading labels is an important source of information. The time spent is not lost for the safety of the operator and environment.

There are different types of informations on labels : 

  • Uses and doses approved : any use not corresponding to the indicated use is prohibited.
  • « Safety » part with pictograms explaining the product classification. The « R » advices for Risk warn the applicator on the toxicity and danger associated with the use.         The « S » advices for Safety tip off informations on precautions.
  • Agronomics informations are essentially guidance on the application. 
 

During  treatment

  • Wear protective clothings and protective equipments Do not eat, do not drink or smoke during use
  • Keep away from foods and drinks including those for animals
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical
  • Store only in original tightly closed containers in a cool, dry well-ventilated place.
